Synchronise mobility, strength, energy flow, balance and breath in a choice of Yoga, Fitness or Pilates. Embark on an excitement-fuelled adventure with a guided e-bike excursion. Disappearing into the wilderness, where the charm and chants of nearby wildlife bring you into the heart of nature, allowing recalibration of all manners of wellbeing. Instil an added spell of serenity and relaxation with a personalised in-room massage, infused with nature-inspired rituals to soothe and uplift the body and mind from the everyday tones. Throughout the programme, guests will also have access to the property’s outdoor heated swimming pool and tennis court. Replenish the body each day with energising meals, freshly prepared by the chefs of the property’s Michelin starred restaurant.

The Expert

Melanie Oliva

A sports enthusiast and athlete since young, Melanie enjoys sharing her passion for moving with others. While at the same time, increasing awareness to the body and discovering exhilarating fun engaging in a range of movement-based exercises and activities. Soon after, she became a fitness instructor and found her way to Pilates and Yoga, which she now practices and teaches full time. After attending a 200hr TTC in Bali, each class guided by Melanie will guide individuals into an open space of mindfulness and consciousness, both to themselves, others, their thoughts and breath. She believes it is important to feel every sensation in the body as it serves a valued lesson of being present in each moment.

Superior Room

The essence of the French concept art de vivre - elegant and timeless, is embodied by the Superior Room. With impeccable views of the Dordogne River or flourishing French formal gardens from the double-panelled glass window and doors. The room design is kept minimalistic, following a neutral palette of soft greys and beige, dressed in dark-wood and gold-framed furniture. Reserving full attention to enjoy the moment and accumulate new memories. Each Superior Room is equipped with a king size bed or twin bed, well-sized walk-in shower or bath. Toiletries included.

Deluxe Room

Proud and decadent, binding a slice of history in its display. The Deluxe Room doubles as a calm oasis to relax and unwind. Reclaimed solid oak furniture, parquet de Versailles flooring and beautiful Louis XVI furniture highlights grandeur with a soft-spoken, welcoming atmosphere. Each Deluxe Room is equipped with a four poster bed or king size bed, a bathtub and shower, with palatial views of the Dordogne River. Toiletries included.

Prestige Room

Combining a refined manor house style with French-accented contemporary living, settle into the comforts of the Prestige Room. Overlooking the tended gardens and Dordogne River, the room follows a muted colour palette, adorned with gilded antique furnishings and ornaments. Reflective of its rightful name. Junior Suite

One of many outstanding features to the Junior Suite, exceptional views through the vast, mullioned windows reveal a 350 year old Lebanon Cedar and the Dordogne River. Swirling the room in a quiet and simple gentleness, a reminder of proximity to the great outdoors. Respectfully rooted to its heritage through beautiful Gothic styled furniture, patterns and materials. Each Junior suite holds a king size bed or a four-poster bed and includes a sitting room area. The spacious bathrooms are equipped with a Jacuzzi bath and multi-jet shower. Toiletries included.

Master Suite

From the furniture to aesthetics, experience a true taste of French living as it was once privately lived in the Master Suite. Appearing effortless and relaxed, making good use of space to reflect the individual personality of a period belonging to King Louis XIV. Modern comforts in each Master Suite includes a king size bed, an extra sofa bed and a separate lounge or private terrace. The main draw to the suites are the brightly-lit bathrooms installed with either a Jacuzzi bath and multi-jet shower or a huge, golden soaking tub with shower. Location

A small village located South of France, carrying historic significance and a pleasant charisma prevailed by unusual rock formations, clean cut lakes and emerald forestry. Lacave offers scope for abundant outdoor adventures and discovery. A short distance from the estate, ride an electric train, go underground and uncover the land’s hidden treasures, touring the 12 chambers of sublime limestone formations and rock pools in Grottos de Lacave. Rocamadour, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is known for being host to religious monuments and fortifications dating back to the 12th Century. Attracting pilgrims from all countries over a thousand years. Offering exceptional natural beauty all seasons, venture into Causses du Quercy Regional Natural Park. A vast and wildlife-rich nature reserve spanning over 175,000 hectares of contrasting expanse, admire the iconic dry-stone walls and huts rambling on foot, bike or horseback ride. With the clear and soaring skies, it is also the perfect place to stargaze. Famed for being one of the most beautiful villages in France with manor houses and small chateaux, Autoire is nicknamed ‘Petit Versailles’ for reasons apparent to those who explore it. Treat the taste buds in Cahors, with a tasting of its distinctive dark-red wine, made up of 70% Malbec grapes. The only red-wine in Southern France to use neither Cabernet Sauvignon or Cabernet-France grapes. Additionally, the 14th Century six-arched medieval bridge and UNESCO World Heritage Site, Pont Valentré spans the Lot river, connecting to the west of Cahors.

Practical Info

You will be allowed to check into your room from 3:00pm onwards on the day of your arrival. 

The property is easily accessible from six different airports. In order of proximity, these include Brive–Dordogne Valley Airport, Limoges–Bellegarde Airport, Bergerac Dordogne Périgord Airport, Rodez-Marcillac Airport, Toulouse-Blagnac Airport and Bordeaux Airport. While the closest train station is Brive, accessible from Gare d’Austerlitz in Paris. 

You may rent a car or book a taxi from outside the airports and train station, quoting the below address to bring you directly to the property. Reservations for taxi bookings prior to arrival is required. Alternatively, the property will be happy to organise a transfer for you.
