Promising vastness of space and inspiring activities that tune personal pace with the hushed tempo of the land.

Emphasising mobility, movement and attention to the breath, choose from Yoga, Fitness, Pilates or Port de Bras. Fringed by scented foliage, bringing calm and restorative energies that challenge old patterns of thinking with new mindsets. Discover the vibrant and true wonders of the wilderness on a guided horseback ride. Witnessing spontaneous encounters in their natural states, carefree and curious. Reset the mind and purify the body with a personalised massage, in either the comforts of your own room or the estate’s treatment room. Carrying traces of its past from across the generations, summon your attention on the rich and authentic profile of the estate in an archaeological trek. Ambling across bucolic trails laced with historical remains that await discovery. Throughout your stay, enjoy complimentary access to the outdoor pool and Hammam Spa. Savouring moments of stillness with nothing but the gentle sigh of nearby wildlife.

Combining long-standing traditions with an emphasis on flavours of the season. The chefs of the estate visit and handpick vegetables, fruits and herbs from the meticulously tended gardens each day. Resulting in an ever-changing menu that is sure to provide nutritional sustenance and delightful surprises to suit individual tastes. For complete insight into Sicilian life, experience a traditional Sicilian cooking class. Showcasing inventive use of flavours and textures directed by local recipes and fresh, organic ingredients.

Boasting spectacular up front views of Mount Etna, the highest peak in Italy. Commenda di San Calogero is a 16th Century former Sicilian feudal estate and Sicily’s best kept secret. Set in a valley by the San Calogero river, on the outskirts of the Iblean Plateau. The estate harmoniously forges balance between past and present, weaving textures, colours and materials together to pay homage to its heritage. Without forgetting the ideal of contemporary comforts. Landscaped gardens host organic citrus groves and olive trees, the leading characters of marmalades, orange blossom honey and the finest extra virgin olive oils. Cultural jewels of art and history in the likes of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, monasteries, medieval castle ruins and more call for attention nearby. Encouraging guests to experience a world away from the ordinary, where time stands still and an inescapable adoration for history prevails.

For an all-inclusive 4-day 3-night stay, the price for single occupancy in the Standard room is £1,692pp.
