Radiant Energy Moroccan Estate Retreat

Marrakesh, Morocco

We love it for

Unrivalled Closeness With the Atlas Mountains, Prestigious Exotic Gardens, Modern and Majestic Moroccan Architecture, Creative Workshops

5 day programme

Coming soon, 2022

Standing before the soaring Atlas Mountains, embark on a multi-sensory awakening journey on the Radiant Energy Moroccan Estate Retreat. Be centred in the stillness of the pristine wilderness, taking time to reflect and identify priorities in the company of the vibrant charms of Marrakech.

Backed by the dramatic landscapes boasting a meditative aura. Embrace the splendour of nature, steadying the breath in morning Vinyasa Yoga. Held under the clear and open air, correct posture and expel negative energies as the sun rises from below the horizon and the first morning light sweeps across the land. In the evening, time will be dedicated to Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra. A deeper but slower experience encouraging inner-exploration and acceptance.

A creative writing workshop will help guests align with purpose through understanding the importance of “making it right in the mind.” In the digital age, where the traditional pen and paper concept seems unfamiliar, we will demonstrate the validity of writing down goals, desires and dreams to gather a clearer path towards achieving these objectives.

This exclusive programme designed by Balance Holidays also includes a traditional massage or Hammam to allow guests to experience an extra touch of beauty and mystery of Morocco. Satisfy the curious taste buds with healthy meals prepared daily on-site using organic ingredients, sourced from local producers. A unique healthy cooking Moroccan workshop held at a local farm is also part of this experience. Opportunities to unwind with a book outside, bathing in the warm afternoon glow or exploring the expansive fields encircling the estate are aplenty. A stroll and exclusive dinner in Marrakesh will joyfully conclude this magical retreat.

Tucked quietly in a secluded corner South of Marrakesh, surrounded by 16 acres of distinguished gardens. Azaren was designed by international architect, Imaad Rahmouni. Rooted in Moroccan culture, modelled in a subtlety that is brilliantly blended into the interior of the estate. The interior creatively elaborates the use of space as an empty canvas for art. While the grounds and gardens were conceived by French landscape designers Eric Ossart and Arnaud Maurières. Uniting exotic plantations with sculptural cacti and local crops. With pleasant warmth bouncing off the walls to the resplendent blooms flourishing around the gardens, Azaren will introduce a space of modernity, infected by Moroccan energy to guests. The perfect starting point to begin a path of disconnection, discovery and growth.

The Expert

Happy Healthy Ila

Happy Healthy Ila is a passionate yoga and dance teacher who began yoga in her early 20s to improve her ballet dancing. She holds grace, elegance and gratitude as the key pillars of her philosophy. Living abroad and travelling across countries such as Brazil, New York, Singapore and now Paris has enabled her to adopt core elements of different yoga and meditation traditions into her personal methods of practise. It has also allowed her to access ports of different healing techniques ranging from forest therapy Shinrin Yuku to ayurvedic treatments all with a key purpose to help members heighten achievements of health and happiness independently every day.

Step inside the airy spaces to discover a sumptuous situation, designed to provide each guest with maximum comfort and minimal interference to the integrity of Marrakesh. Each suite carries a unique and individual character expressed through the theme of colour. Vibrancy and vigour are two familiar features of Morocco. Which have been artfully integrated into each suite to demonstrate the bouncy cheerfulness of Moroccan culture paired with contemporary design.

Room Types

The Purple Suite

The purple wonder is an echoing theme in the Purple Suite at Azaren. Sleek design with contemporary features and amenities provide a comfortable situation for guests throughout their stay. The highlight in this suite is the bathroom with an elegant, solo-standing soaking tub facing out towards the stunning views of pristine greenery. The rule here is to not offer any limitations on luxury or personal reconnection. Basic toiletries and a set of pool towels that coordinate the colour of the suite are included to help easy recognition.

The Master Suite

Carrying all essential components of a master suite bedroom, the Master Suite at Azaren will ease guests into a trance of tranquillity. In a carefully chosen soft turquoise hue, this suite is a gentle reminder of the endless possibilities waiting outside. With direct access to the exotic gardens through a set of tall doors, feel enticed to kick off the duvet sheets and begin each day rejuvenated and restored as one with the outdoors. Toiletries included.

The Coral Suite

A soft hum of coral paired against whitewashed walls. The Coral Suite is a bold but brave, bathed in a ruddy glow, a warm display in Moroccan style. Lime and khaki adds an air of intimacy and an uncanny similarity to the exterior of Azaren’s exotic gardens. Semi-high ceilings will cause minimal disturbance to a night of restful sleep. Wake determined and refreshed, ready to embrace the new day with direct access to the gardens through a set of tall glass doors or sit outside on the private porch relaxing with a book. Basic toiletries and a set of pool towels that coordinate the colour of the suite are included to help easy recognition.

The Blue Suite

Moody with a swig of suave, the tall glass doors, a direct gateway to the exotic gardens, will pull in natural light to tune down the mood into a soft mellow whine. In the intimate spaces of the Blue Suite, oak brown upholstered seats add contrast as a kind resemblance to broody nature waiting outside. A private outdoor shower is connected to the bathroom, joined through a set of sliding glass doors. Basic toiletries and a set of pool towels that coordinate the colour of the suite are included to help easy recognition.

Food and Cuisine

Vibrancy with a myriad of flavours are two distinctive characteristics of Morocco and to no surprise, both elements extend into the kitchens too. Tailored to meet even the most discerning tastes of a diverse group, healthy meals following original recipes will be provided and included as part of this programme. All meals will be prepared in the estate kitchen using locally sourced, organic ingredients, regional herbs and condiments and extra virgin olive oil. Please notify us of any dietary requirements or intolerances.

Health, Safety and Hygiene

Your health and safety have and will continue to take central priority in everything we do. For this retreat, Balance Holidays and Azaren have worked together to introduce and adopt heightened levels of health and safety vigilance and measures guided by local health authorities, WHO (World Health Organisation) and CDC (Centres for Disease Control and Prevention) above their existing stringent standards. The objective is to provide a safe, comfortable and high-quality experience as expected from us. We also have an individual Radiant Energy Moroccan Estate Retreat determined Health & Safety protocol in place. If you wish to learn more, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you. Otherwise, please refer to our Terms and Conditions or Covid-19 Update.

A region of true fascination, Marrakesh is a colourfully embellished jewel in the heart of Morocco. Draped in an enduring allure, stemmed in rich history, culture and deep traditions. Impressive buildings, from attractive mosques to gilded imperial palaces, mosques and shrines are dotted across Marrakesh. Signifying reverence for lasting legacies of its former rulers. Venture beyond the ancient souks, indulgent mint teas, tinkering wares and shiny tile works into the refined grounds and gardens to be met with a reassuring spell of serenity. Marvel at the heart-expanding sweeping views of nature, knitted in a vibrancy and individuality that will stoke curiosity and new perspectives. A dull moment is not a possibility in Marrakesh.
